Kia ora Mosen at Largers. Our amazing community has put together another informative, thought-provoking listen for you, and it’ll be in your podcast app this weekend. Here’s a sneak peak of what you can expect. You’re welcome to comment on these or any other issues that are on your mind.
Plans are taking shape for the We’re with U benefit concert for Ukraine on 16 April. This week, I’ll talk about exactly where the money goes and how we’re seeking sponsors.
Yesterday, I was invited to a meeting with some key Uber personnel, including software engineers and designers, to discuss the accessibility issues that have been plaguing their apps for some users of late. I have positive progress to report in this episode.
Last week, a listener talked about serious issues he was experiencing with his HumanWare Brailliant display. I gave HumanWare the benefit of the doubt and said it sounded like a defective unit, but I was wrong. Some other listeners who own Brailliants describe their frustration with a serious bug that causes work to be lost.
We talk about a few highlights from CSUN. If you attended, feel free to share yours.
Last Monday, a brand-new talk network launched in New Zealand. Radio geek that I am, this week I’m going to reminisce about some of my favourite radio launches in New Zealand, and even play some clips. It’ll be fun if you are a fellow radio geek. And I’m interested in hearing about radio launches and format changes that are memorable for you.
There’s plenty more on the show as well. If you want to raise something new, you’re very welcome. Please don’t be shy, I’d love to hear from you. What makes Mosen At Large special is the global community we’ve built and all the perspectives we share with each other.
