On the show this week, with the lively debate on social media around Blind Barbie, I’m joined by Dr Arielle Silverman, Director of Research at the American Foundation for the Blind. Arielle, who is blind herself, discusses the rationale around the decisions that were made about Blind Barbie, including what she wears, what accessories she has, and how she looks. We also discuss the impact Arielle hopes Blind Barbie will have on kids and adults alike.

Zoom has released another accessible recorder, we’ll give you all the details.

All this, and a lot more, in Living Blindfully 295. With listeners in 113 countries, our Living Blindfully community offers a wide range of knowledge and perspectives. We welcome your contribution to the show. Here’s how to have your say.
